JET Performance Carbs

JET performance carbs are not a line of carburetors produced by the JET company. Instead, JET is commited to tuning and refining existing carburetor models. You can purchase modified versions of your favorite carbs, including Holley's and Quadradjets, for just about any application you could think of, from street to marine.

While JET performance carbs does not produce their own unique carburetor, they do produce rebuild kits as well as pieces that will allow you to modify your own carburetor. You can purchase rebuild kits for Quadrajets and Holley's as well as Quadrajet floats, Quadrajet tuning parts, bushing kits for Holleys and Rochesters, electric choke kits and carb spacers.

In addition to the already modified carbs and the variety of parts and tuning accessories that you can pick up off of JET Performance Parts, you can also send them your carburetor to have tuned by their professional team. This is useful for those who don't want to get their hands dirty, but want to save an older carb, someone who's recently rebuilt or modified their engine and needs to have their carb modified to match. In addition to tuning, JET will also powder coat or chrome your carburetor, and can also modify 2 BBL and 4 BBL Holleys for use with alcohol based fuels.

JET doesn't just focus on carbs, however. You can also get your fuel injectors cleaned and refurbished by JET as well. For a price, you can have your injector filters and o-rings replaced, as well as have any deposits ultrasonically removed and flow volume checked and equalized. Again, this will bring years more use out of your car's existing parts. For those who have high performance parts, this service is much cheaper than buying all new fuel injectors.

Other JET Performance Products

In addition to their work with fuel and induction systems, JET also produces a line of accessories for other applications as well. They produce and air/fuel monitor. For cars that have an O2 sensor, you can actually monitor in real time the amount of air and fuel that's being delivered to your engine. This is helpful for the do-it-yourself tuners.

JET also produces a line of throttle body spacers. This increase the rate of air flow into the intake manifold. By increasing the rate of flow, you're allowing more air to be introduced into the combustion chamber. This is a simple trick to increase your throttle's response and it a cost-effective solution for home tuners. JET produces these pieces for GM, Ford, Dodge, Jeep and Toyota vehicles.

JET has designed a mass air sensor that will replace your stock sensor. JET claims that it will provide improved horsepower, torque and mileage for your vehicle. The stock airflow sensor is inherently restrictive and this replacement solves that. This is for fuel injected cars only, however and carbureted cars do not have a Mass Airflow Sensor.

Another product that is worth noting from JET is their underdrive pulley set. This is designed to help to reclaim some of the power that you lose to the accessories on your engine. The alternator, air conditioning compressor, fuel pump and other accessories that are driven by the serpentine belt on the front of your engine all rob your car of its horsepower. This pulley set is designed to reduce the amount of drag that is placed on your engine by the accessories. It effectively slows down the accessories and allows the engine to turn with less effort. It's a simple bolt-on kit that doesn't require any special tools other than a socket set. You can get these for GM, Ford, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.

JET also makes a low temperature thermostat. Factory thermostats click on around 195 degrees. This lowered temperature unit is more accurate and will help to turn the cooling system on and off at lower temperatures, keeping your car running cool. Cooler engines will give you a longer running life as well as more efficiency.
